Pau d'Arco ("pow darko"), known botanically as Tabebuia impetiginosa is species of tree native to Brazil and other South American countries. It has been used by indigenous tribes dating back over 1,500 years and is highly valued for its overall health benefits. The inner bark is harvested from Pau d'Arco trees and used as an herbal-medicinal compound.
